How dangerous is the gunk on your hands after using Polymer Clay?
Yeah, it's me the chemophobe again.
I remember when I was a kid(I'm 19) I didn't know about all those neat tips on getting rid of it (books were very limited on information and back then we all used dial up internet), so I ended up eating and maybe picking my nose with the gunk and furiously wiping it with a towel only for it to come off eventually the next day, and I'm pretty worried about it sometimes even though I have never touched polymer clay in 6-7 years, mainly due to my age at the time. I remember touching the uncured clay sometimes, and since there wasn't much gunk I didn't bother to wash my hands(it was hard but uncured).
I also have found bits of uncured clay in some of the toys I played with back then. I don't remember much but I think I have tired to press the clay into various toys to see the impressions they made, and baked a few.
I just worry about anything chronic down the line, especially since I was really young and vulnerable back then.
